A well known problem of the Triumph/BSA triple engines is that they experience wet sumping.
The oil anti-drain valve that is positioned directly after the exit of the oil pump, fails to stop the oil, leaking by gravity, from the oil tank to crankcase.
There is nothing wrong with the design of this system, the problem lies on the material.
Casted aluminum is not recommended for this sort of job. The best to use is bronze.
With this service the "anti-drain" valve area is machined and a bronze insert is positioned.
Dimensionally its internals are identical with the original dimensions.
For this service the drive side of the crankcase must be supplied to us, from the customer.
With the returned part it will be also included a new stainless steel ball of 11 mm diameter (7/16).
The cost of this service is 140 euros, with returning postage and PayPal fees not included in this price.
